Default MetaData is store in the registry when running under the windows platform. For all other platforms it is stored in a file call Default.XML?. For windows there is system default in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, and per user defaults in HKEY_CURRENT_USER. The sub key in both cases is:
\SOFTWARE\Drastic Technologies\MediaReactor\MetaData\Default

    • TC – Absolute position
    • LTC – Longitudinal (SMPTE) time code
    • LTC UB – Longitudinal (SMPTE) user bits
    • VITC – Vertical interval time code
    • VITC UB – Vertical interval user bits
    • DATA 0 – User data or size
    • DATA 1 – User data or pointer

Basic Elements


    • Duration – Length of the clip as time code
    • FPS – Frames per second
    • Width – Width of video frame
    • Height – Height of video frame
    • Bit Depth – Number of bits per pixel reported in video
    • FourCC – Four character compression code
    • Bit Rate – Bit rate of the stream
    • Video Channels – Number of video channels available
    • Audio Channels – Number of audio channels available
    • Audio Frequency – Frequency of primary audio stream
    • Audio Bits/Sample – Number of bits per sample in audio stream
